The general style for these templates should be as follows:

• In the section just below the title and above the boxes, only links to the following subjects should appear (in the following order):
  1. Link to the article of the game itself - as Main article
  2. Video game scripts of the game - as Script or Scripts (Script 1, Script 2, etc.)
  3. Staff/Credits subpage of the game - as Staff
  4. Manuals subpage of the game - as Manuals
  5. Glitches subpage of the game - as Glitches
  6. Beta elements subpage of the game - as Beta elements
  7. Gallery subpage of the game - as Gallery
  8. Pre-releases of the game - as Pre-releases (Pre-release 1, Pre-release 2, etc.)
  9. Re-releases/ports of the game - as Re-releases (Re-release 1, Re-release 2, etc.)
• The template includes every information of the video game itself. This can be done by looking through its category (i.e. Category:Sonic the Fighters).
• Every template must end with the word "info".
• Each template requires a specific color:
  • Main-series console games must have the color "#6699CC"
  • Handheld games must have the color "crimson"
  • Spin-off games must have the color "#E8C819"
  • Sonic Boom games must have the color "#FF7D40"
• No game without its own category can have a game template.
• Place the template at the bottom of the article's page as with all navboxes.
• If an article has two or more game templates, place them in order of their respective games' original release (for example, you would place {{Sonic 1 info}} before {{Sonic 2 info}} in the Spin Attack article.)
  • If there are more than five navigation templates on an article, please use {{Navigatebox}} to collapse them.
  • If more than fifteen game templates link to one page, no game templates can be listed in that article.
