This page pertains to the list of Challenges found at Kronos Island in Sonic Frontiers. All Challenges have brief location descriptions, summaries and listed Map icons revealed on the menu after completing each Challenge.

M-001

Location: northeast portion of the isolated east island in Kronos Island
Summary	Screenshot
M-001 involves three unactived, ancient switches being placed on the terrain. The player has to move on them and press down each switch to complete the Challenge. Each switch will deactivate after ten seconds, if the player hasn't activated all three switches.

M-002

Location: south portion of the isolated east island in Kronos Island
Summary	Screenshot
M-002 has three stone torch pillars with blue fire placed on the wide terrain. The player has to use Cyloop to draw circle on each torch at the time, making the flame evaporate into thin air. It is also possible to surround two or all three torches in one big circle in order to finish the Challenge.

M-003

Location: southern cape of the island
Summary	Screenshot
M-003 consist of five low-height posts with green crystals on the top, being set on the terrain with medium sized gaps between them. The player has to make Sonic target and perform the Homing Attack to activate each crystal. Each crystals does eventually turn off, if the player leaves too long a time gap for each Homing Attack. Hitting all the crystals successfully clears the Challenge.

M-004

Location: east side of the island's southern cape
Summary	Screenshot
M-004 is a 5x5 light panel grid puzzle. The player has to move Sonic around active light panels in certain pattern to clear them all. Touching or leaping to unactive light panels and outside the table will make the player fail the Challenge.

M-005

Location: west side of the island's southern cape
Summary	Screenshot
M-005 has three unique platforms standing on small rocky bases. Using the Homing Attack on each one of them creates holographic wings on its side as they float to a certain height and remain stationary indefinitely. When the player hops to the platform, it descends back to the base shortly after. The player has to use Homing Attack on two or all three platforms to reach the fourth, basic platform where the switch is found to be pressed down in order to clear the Challenge.

M-006

Location: top of the ridge formation in the eastern coast of the island
Summary	Screenshot
M-006 is the first time limited Challenge to be activated by flipping the hourglass. Before the Challenge starts the camera will take a tour of the path from the starting point to the goal: A glowing triangular button located at the foot of the canyon to the north. The objective is to make it to the glowing button and press it before the time of 25 seconds runs out to complete the Challenge.

M-007

Location: right side of the canyon in the center of the island

M-007 is the first hamster-wheel type Challenge. Sonic must run and fill the blue bar to the maximum within a time limit of 10 seconds.

M-008

Location: west side of the river in the southern portion

M-008 has the digital point marker surrounded by flowers. When using the Cyloop while running around the plants, the player has cleared the Challenge.

M-009

Location: near abandoned houses on the eastern coast of the island
Summary	Screenshot
M-009 has short rocky structure below laterally pointing black walls and a platform with torch on it. Using the Cyloop around it, the structure extends into a tall pillar with black wall on it. Sonic has to then climb/wall run on both pillar and black wall to reach to the platform; the pillar descends back to its original state in ten seconds since its activation. The player has to then use Cyloop on torch to complete the Challenge.

M-010

Location: near close to abandoned houses in the southwest coast of the island

M-011

Location: near close to the control tower on the eastern cape of the island

M-011 is the first side stepping light panels Challenge. There is a line of three light panels on black base. After stepping to the active light panel, Sonic has to perform the Cartwheel onto the green light panels 7 times in 25 seconds.

M-012

Location: near close to the control tower in the northeast portion
Summary	Screenshot
M-012 can be activated by flipping the hourglass. It has the highest time limit of all time trial Challenges on the island, with 65 seconds. The triangular button is located at the top of the control tower. The player has to climb/wall run on black walls of the tower or utilize Grind Rails, Dash Panels, Springs, Wide springs, Pullies and Balloons to reach the destination on time.

M-013

Location: top of a land formation above a canyon in the center of the island

M-013 has three ancient switches on platforms that move sideways in an unsynchronized pattern above canyon. The player has to press down switches for completing the Challenge.

M-014

Location: at the foot of the forest in the southwest coast of the island

M-014 is the first Challenge that can be completed only in nighttime. As the day gets dark, five shining points in each tree begin to glow yellow. The player has to locate these yellow lights around the surrounding forest area of the digital point marker and use the Cyloop on trees to make these shining points to disappear.

M-015

Location: near close to mountains and Eggman's ship in the northern portion
Summary	Screenshot
M-015 can be completed only during the nighttime. With the day turning dusky, small light appears right next to the digital point marker. When the player uses the Cyloop on it, it will disappear and re-appear to the other side of the point marker. Doing the Cyloop again, the light will warp on a metallic structure in the eastern direction. Using the Cyloop there will make the light change slightly its place on a structure and using the Cyloop on the light for the fourth it will make it re-appear on the center of the Eggman's ship, where the player can reach by using balloons. Performing the Cyloop around all light spots completes the Challenge.

M-016

M-017

Location: south side of the deep canyon within the island

M-017 is the first blue ring-type Challenge, that is activated by performing the Cyloop around a rocky base structure. This summons a target sphere above it and a light blue holographic ring near close. The player has to set Sonic to point into the direction of the blue ring behind the target sphere. The player has to then perform the Homing Attack on the target sphere to bounce it through the holographic ring within the time limit of 30 seconds to complete the Challenge.

M-018

Location: glade in the southwest coast of the island

M-018 is activated by flipping the hourglass. The player has to reach to the triangular button on a tall rock pillar within the time limit of 45 seconds. The player can perform the Drop Dash on the downhill slope to reach to the destination faster and use Jump Panels to leap to the tall rock pillar for completing the Challenge.

M-019

Location: right side of the canyon near close to the waterfall in the northern portion

M-019 is activated by using Cyloop around the base structure to generate target sphere and single light blue holographic ring. The target sphere is floating high above the base as Sonic has to use one of his basic moves to bounce it through the holographic ring within the time limit of 30 seconds to complete the Challenge.

M-021

Location: right side of the floating emerald structure

M-021 is activated by flipping the hourglass. The player has to reach to the triangular button on the other side of a deep canyon in far distance to the north within the time limit of 50 seconds. The player can follow trail of Rings leading to the route through the deep ditch and crossing the deep canyon via the metallic bridge.

M-022

Location: near the waterfall at the foot of mountains in the northern portion

M-022 involves of performing the Homing Attack in one of four unique platforms to make it float to a certain height. Three platforms behind the first one are already stationary on the mid-air, as the player can Homing Attack on them and reach to the basic platform with ancient switch on it to complete the Challenge.

M-023

Location: west side of the tombstone field in the northern portion

M-023 is activated by flipping the hourglass. Four bright glowing points are summoned to the field: two found in large metallic platforms and other two in grassy terrain. The player has to perform the Cyloop on each one of them within the time limit of 50 seconds to complete the Challenge.

M-024

M-025

Location: the western cape of the island

M-025 is the a side stepping light panels Challenge. This time there are five panels, instead of three. Sonic must side step onto the green light 10 times in 50 seconds. On a line of three light panels, Sonic has to perform the Cartwheel onto the green light panels 7 times in 20 seconds.
